About Me

Hello! I'm Lalit Makker - Senior Software Engineer by trade, founder of BOXL Technologies (opens in a new tab) by temperament, and a relentless explorer of new ideas by choice. Over the past decade I've shipped production systems in Django, Node.js, and Python, crafted iOS apps, and even dabbled in Unity game development when curiosity demanded it.

Today my focus is split between bespoke software solutions for clients worldwide, TestAcademy.net (opens in a new tab) - a smarter assessment platform where students tackle mock exams and revision lists, teachers orchestrate schedules and analytics-rich grading, and businesses run branded, multi-center test programs - and a health-tech product built on Google's Mediapipe framework. I love mixing full-stack fundamentals with AI tooling - LLMs, TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face - to solve real-world problems with a human touch.

When I’m not building, you’ll find me reading, mentoring, or sketching out the next experiment. I believe great software feels effortless, and that happens when engineering discipline meets a willingness to tinker.
